I’m so glad you’re here.
I’m Lisa. A wife, mother of two, military spouse, photographer, and birth doula. At the heart of both my photography and doula work is the same thing: a deep love for people, connection, and the beautifully ordinary moments that make up our lives.
I believe in slowing down enough to truly be present. To notice the little things. To make space for the big things. Whether I'm behind the camera documenting your family or beside you through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum, my hope is that you feel seen, supported, and cared for.
I was born and raised in southwest Germany before moving to the U.S. after marrying my husband. After years of building a life and community there, our family has now found its way back home to Germany.
My own births, one in a hospital and one at home, transformed the way I see birth and motherhood. They taught me to trust the wisdom of the body, the importance of feeling safe and heard, and how deeply meaningful it is to have someone beside you who believes in you.
Those lessons naturally found their way into my work. Photography allows me to preserve the fleeting moments that pass far too quickly, while doula work allows me to be present with families as they move through one of life's biggest transitions.
As a military spouse, I’ve learned to embrace change, build community wherever we are, and appreciate the people who make a place feel like home. I’m fluent in German and English, and I love connecting with families from different backgrounds and cultures.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me with my family. Exploring, gardening, cooking, sewing, making pottery, or searching for treasures while thrifting. I find joy in the handmade, the slow, and the simple.
Becoming a mother changed me. Supporting and witnessing other families through these seasons continues to be one of the greatest honors of mine.
